Quick answer

How do you integrate Descartes Aljex with a CRM?

You integrate Descartes Aljex with a CRM through the Descartes API, which Descartes gates to its customers. Aljex is now branded Descartes Aljex. With credentials issued to your account, middleware maps customers, loads and invoices to HubSpot or Salesforce companies, deals and custom objects. Descartes publishes no public CRM connector, so the sync is a custom build.

How Aljex integration projects run

  1. Step 1

    Map the data

We list the Aljex records your sales and marketing teams need, agree the field mapping and decide which system owns each field.

  2. Step 2

    Connect and test

We build the connection on the Aljex interface your account licenses, with retries, logging and a test run on real records before go-live.

  3. Step 3

    Turn data into pipeline

Dashboards, workflows and alerts in the CRM, so reps see shipments next to deals and marketing sees which campaigns produced revenue.

  4. Step 4

    Monitor and extend

Error alerts, schema changes and new objects as you grow, with one team accountable for the integration and the marketing that uses it.

FAQ

Aljex integration FAQ

Does Aljex integrate with HubSpot?

+

There is no public Aljex HubSpot connector. F5 builds the sync on the Descartes API, mapping customers, loads and invoices to HubSpot companies, deals and custom objects, with campaign attribution.

Does Aljex have an API?

+

Yes, through Descartes. Aljex is now branded Descartes Aljex, and Descartes issues API access to its customers. Ask your account contact which API products and credentials your agreement includes.

Can Descartes Aljex sync with Salesforce?

+

Yes, as a custom build on the Descartes API. Customers map to accounts, orders to opportunities, and loads and invoices to custom objects. See logistics software integration.

Is the Aljex integration different from other Descartes products?

+

The access model is the same, but the objects differ. Aljex is a brokerage TMS, so the map centers on customers, loads, carriers and invoices rather than forwarding shipments.
