CargoWise Integration
CargoWise holds every job, milestone and invoice. Your CRM holds the people who buy. F5 connects the two through eAdaptor so reps see live shipment history and marketing sees which campaign produced which booking.
Quick answer
How do you integrate CargoWise with a CRM?
You integrate CargoWise with a CRM through eAdaptor, WiseTech Global's XML interface. Inbound messages arrive over HTTPS, and outbound messages are pushed to a listener you host when workflow milestones fire. Payloads use Universal XML, such as Universal Shipment, or Native XML. A middleware layer maps organizations, shipments and invoices to HubSpot or Salesforce objects. WiseTech does not ship a CRM connector.
- Vendor
- WiseTech Global
- Integration surface
- eAdaptor (XML over HTTPS, SOAP push)
- Auth
- eAdaptor credentials; OAuth 2.0 with eAdaptor Next
- Objects
- Organizations, jobs and shipments, quotes, milestones, invoices
- CRMs
- HubSpot, Salesforce
How do eAdaptor messages carry CargoWise jobs and milestones?
CargoWise is built around eAdaptor. Developer documentation and endpoints are released to customers who license the eAdaptor module, so access starts with your WiseTech account.
-
Inbound service
eAdaptor receives XML over HTTPS. This is how external systems create or update records in CargoWise.
-
Outbound messages
When workflow milestones or events trigger, CargoWise pushes a message (SOAP) to a listener you host. That listener is where the CRM sync begins.
-
Universal XML and Native XML
Payloads come as Universal XML, for example Universal Shipment, or as Native XML. Universal XML is the stable choice for CRM work.
-
eAdaptor Next
The newer eAdaptor Next adds OAuth 2.0, which simplifies credential handling for new integrations.
Data mapping
Which CargoWise records map to CRM objects?
The useful sync is narrow: the records a rep or marketer acts on, not the whole database.

What sales and marketing get
How do forwarders sell with CargoWise data in the CRM?
-
Lead to booking attribution
Tie each booking back to the campaign, keyword and page that produced the first inquiry, so budget follows what books freight.
-
Lane and volume signals
Flag accounts that open a new lane or whose TEU volume drops, and route the alert to the right rep.
-
One account view for reps
Open an account and see open quotes, active shipments and unpaid invoices without logging in to CargoWise.
-
Quote follow-up
Trigger a task when a quote has no booking after a set number of days, with the lane and rate in the task.

How CargoWise integration projects run
- Step 1
Map the data
We list the CargoWise records your sales and marketing teams need, agree the field mapping and decide which system owns each field.
- Step 2
Connect and test
We build the connection on the CargoWise interface your account licenses, with retries, logging and a test run on real records before go-live.
- Step 3
Turn data into pipeline
Dashboards, workflows and alerts in the CRM, so reps see shipments next to deals and marketing sees which campaigns produced revenue.
- Step 4
Monitor and extend
Error alerts, schema changes and new objects as you grow, with one team accountable for the integration and the marketing that uses it.
